Founded in 1979, the Journal of the Spanish Association
for Anglo-American Studies (AEDEAN) publishes research on cultural, linguistic,
and literary topics, past and present, of English-speaking communities,
including pertinent cross-cultural and comparative analyses. In addition,
Atlantis offers a forum for commentaries and interviews on matters of
interest to its wide readership. Over the years, it has gained the reputation of
being the standard Spanish journal for Anglo-American studies.
In December 2004 Atlantis celebrated its Silver Jubilee.
