Atlantis basically publishes (a) articles in the field of Anglo-American studies, (b) reviews, and (c) interviews, though exceptionally there can be other sections. The General Assembly of the AEDEAN held in Salamanca in December 2003 agreed to transfer short book notices of not more than 1,000 words to the Association Bulletin Nexus edited by Dr. Ignacio Palacios. In case of doubt, contact the General Editor of Atlantis.
The recommended length for articles is between 4,000 and 8,000 words. Book reviews should be between 2,500 and 3,000 words, and they should be more than mere descriptions of the contents of a particular book. Reviewers should compare the book under review to similar books in the same field in order to establish its relative importance, and explain its major contribution. For more information on selection criteria for articles, reviews, and interviews click here. If you intend to write a contribution for Atlantis, please do not fail to read these criteria.
In questions of length, interviews will be considered as articles.
