Juan Rafael Zamorano Mansilla currently teaches in the department of English studies at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, where he gained his PhD with the dissertation La generación de tiempo y aspecto en inglés y español: un estudio funcional contrastivo (The generation of tense and aspect in English and Spanish: a functional contrastive study). His main research areas include Semantics (tense, aspect and modality, attributive constructions) and Computational Linguistics (natural language generation). He was appointed assistant to the Editor of Atlantis in 2006.
